State Bank of India Muscat provides diverse banking products and services to Individual Customers and Commercial establishments. Being a small organization , our employees are exposed to all facets of banking within a relatively short period. a) Clerk grade-I : Vacancy: one
b) Receptionist/Record keeper (Subordinate Grade) : Vacancy: One

For the post of Clerk grade-I Receptionist/Record keeper
Minimum Age 21 years as on 01.01.2014 18 years as on 01.01.2014
Maximum Age 30 years as on 01.01.2014 25 years as on 01.01.2014
Minimum Educational Qualifications Secondary school, minimum 60% marks with Computer Proficiency School Leaving Certificate (10th) with some Computer knowledge
Proficiency in Proficiency in Spoken / Written English and Arabic is necessary Spoken / Written English and Arabic is necessary
Preference will be given to Candidates with Diploma qualification/Banking experience Candidates with higher qualification.
Job Description
In brief
Clerical work which includes working on computer software for various Banking services, including deposit schemes, remittances, payment systems, customer interaction, marketing of banking products, reconciliation etc. • Handling /sorting/filing records/ vouchers/files etc.
• Customer Service including Attending phone calls & directing customers to appropriate desk.
• Secretarial work.
Stationery Management etc.
